Mechanical Department

The Mechanical Department is in charge of developing all the structural systems of our racecar, ensuring that every component is designed, simulated and manufactured to withstand the challenges of racing. From concept to final assembly, this department turns ideas into real parts that shape the racecar.

Our responsibilities include:

  • Designing, manufacturing and integration of the suspension, steering, braking and cooling systems, the vehicle’s chassis, as well as body and aerodynamic devices.
  • Creating 3D models using CAD software (CATIA V6).
  • Conducting structural and dynamic analyses (using Ansys Mechanical).
  • Applying advanced manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and composite layup.
  • Ensuring reliability and compliance with competition rules through continuous testing and validation.

What is expected from applicants:

  • Actively participation in workshop activities
  • Curiosity and desire to improve your engineering knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of good engineering practices and structural design
  • Familiarity with CAD software is an advantage
  • Interest in manufacturing processes and hands-on workshop activities
  • Attention to details, perseverance and teamwork spirit

We are looking for motivated students to be open to learning and teamwork. By joining this department, new members will gain practical engineering experience, from virtual design and simulations to system integration and hands-on manufacturing and assembly.
